COTTON USA Special Trade Mission from Bangladesh & Pakistan
July 24-August 3, 2010
A delegation of textile representatives from Bangladesh and Pakistan will meet with U.S. industry officials during an upcoming COTTON USA Special Trade Mission. The group will tour the U.S. Cotton Belt—including a farm, gin and classing office—with stops at major growing, research and trading centers. The delegation will meet with the following organizations: American Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA), the American Cotton Marketing Cooperatives (AMCOT), American Cotton Producers, Cotton Incorporated, ICE Futures U.S., the Lubbock Cotton Exchange, the National Cotton Council, Plains Cotton Growers Association, San Joaquin Valley Quality Cotton Growers Association, Southern Cotton Growers Association, Supima, the Texas Cotton Association, Texas Cotton Producers, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Western Cotton Shippers Association.
