COTTON USA: A Family Favorite in China
COTTON USA celebrated cotton’s role as a family favorite during a week-long “Love & Gratitude” sales promotion in Chengdu, China, with children’s brand Les Enphants. The launch event featured informational displays of COTTON USA products for children and babies from Les Enphants and attracted more than 1,000 consumers.
Les Enphants reported a year-on-year sales increase of 500% as a result of the COTTON USA promotion. Sales during a three-week period, in just one store, represented the equivalent of about 4,400 pounds of U.S. cotton.
Parents who attended the interactive, family event said that they choose high quality COTTON USA products for their babies, in particular. Les Enphants, a well-known 45-year-old brand, produces apparel and bedding with babies' comfort in mind, featuring safe, natural materials such as U.S. cotton. Under its brand “Nac Nac,” Les Enphants also produces additional products, such as baby wipes, with U.S. cotton.
The “Love & Gratitude” promotion with Les Enphants also benefitted a charitable platform in China, “Panda Mountain,” a giant panda habitat in the Wolong Nature Reserve. Mr. Yushao Zhang, Les Enphants group manager, said that the brand remains committed to: (1) producing high-quality cotton products; (2) providing the most professional knowledge for baby care; and (3) engaging in public eco-friendly causes.
