COTTON USA Headlines Sponsors at Shanghai International Fashion Showcase
COTTON USA amplified awareness of its “Love My Cotton” campaign through its sponsorship of the 2015 Shanghai International Fashion Showcase (SIFS), held in Shanghai, China, from April 8-11. The event attracted 40,000 visitors, and more than 40 fashion, social and financial media outlets, such as Vogue, Elle, WWD, Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, also attended and published stories through a variety of media channels.
About 50 prominent fashion designers and fashion brands—including Diesel, Blumarine, Samsung, Helen Lee, Ban Xiao Xue, Cindy Soong, We Couture, Zhang Yuhao, threeSociety and Rico Lee—joined the festiviies to showcase their 2015 Autumn-Winter collections.
SIFS attendees could view the COTTON USA “I Love My Cotton” campaign images at the main entrance, alongside other sponsors such as M.A.C., L’Oreal and Samsung Galaxy. Limousines and road flags along the busiest commercial street in Shanghai also featured COTTON USA’s campaign images during the week, effectively reaching target consumers.
Concurrent with SIFS, Cotton Council International hosted a COTTON USA Lifestyle Salon Series in Shanghai on April 9. Approximately 50 current and potential COTTON USA licensees, as well as local trade and fashion media friends, attended this salon and freely exchanged their views on the latest textile, cotton market and fashion trends.
