Global Fashion Industry Connects at Prime Source Forum

The 10th Prime Source Forum in Hong Kong provided a platform for 400 decision-makers in the apparel industry and textile supply chain to connect with other global players in the fashion industry.

The Hon. Adan Mohamed, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development of the Republic of Kenya, gave a keynote speech addressing the sourcing opportunities in Africa. Various discussions and presentations followed, focusing on new retail patterns, future sourcing trends, China’s manufacturing evolution and responsible sourcing. 

Some 400 senior executives from sectors of the apparel industry supply chain, from raw materials to retail, attended the two-day forum. Attendees included: Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Carrfour, Children’s Place, Columbia, Disney, Donna Karan, Eddie Bauer,  Esprit, Escada, FILA, Gap, Gerry Weber, Guess?, H&M, Hanesbrands, Hermes OTTO, HUGO BOSS, JCPenney, Jockey, Kohl’s, Levi Strauss, Liz Claiborne, Lululemon, LVMH, Macys, M&S, New Balance, Nike, Perry Ellis, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Quiksilver, Ralph Lauren, REI, Sears,Target, Tesco, Triumph, Under Armour, VF, Victoria’s Secret and Williamson-Dickie.
