The 2016 edition of Cotton Council International (CCI) and Cotton Incorporated's Global Lifestyle Monitor (GLM), which emphasized Italian consumers’ affinity for denim and quest for quality and comfort, reaped media coverage in Italy.

The survey showed that they have an average of six pairs of jeans in their wardrobes and that 45% wear jeans or denim shorts five days a week, even in the office.

CCI distributed the GLM data on Italians' shopping habits to the whole media spectrum in Italy, garnering a readership of 414,000 and an opportunity-to-see of 8.0 million. The highlight of the coverage was a 2-minute TV feature during the 8 p.m. TG5 national news, reaching an audience of 3.8 million.
